Concorde Bank Limited (CBL), an established international bank, is seeking an experienced individual to undertake the role of Senior IT Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the bank’s information technology infrastructure. The Senior IT Administrator will play a key role in the bank’s IT operations and will assume responsibility for the bank’s internal network, user support, IT policy enforcement and the entire IT ecosystem, including that of its associated company. The role will report to the Head of IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the bank’s business objectives.
  • Manage the bank’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network architecture, and data and cyber security
  • Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting and resolving network, hardware, and software issues in a timely and efficient
  • Proactively identify and address potential IT risks and
  • Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Perform typical IT Administrator functions including the following:
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls and user device
    • Install, configure, and maintain the bank’s network infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and security patching, to ensure optimal system performance and
    • Monitor system activity and identify potential problems, taking proactive steps to prevent
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and
  • Work collaboratively with the external IT support service provider for complex issues to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices, continuously improving the bank’s IT infrastructure.
  • Assess the bank’s security programs and run the system for viruses and
  • Support and train end-users on desktop
  • Maintain the bank’s social media pages and
  • Prepare monthly and/or quarterly IT reports for consideration by Senior Management and


  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related
  2. Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), ITIL, COBIT as well A+ and/or Network+ certifications would be highly
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management and administration, with a focus on network and user support.
  4. Experience working in the Financial Services industry and familiarity with banking and payment processing applications would be an asset.
  5. Proven experience with network architecture, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale.
  6. Strong understanding of data and cybersecurity protocols, with the ability to develop and enforce IT
  7. Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity
