In 2010 Caribbean Catalyst Inc. pioneered the recognition of organisations operating in Barbados with exemplary human resources practices and programmes.

The programme takes the format of interviews with designated management representatives from participating companies and more importantly a staff survey.


Why Enter?

  • Obtain a staff survey at minimal cost.
  • Assess the levels of employee engagement, productivity, leadership effectiveness and accountability.
  • Icing on the cake—the opportunity to see if your organisation will be a finalist or winner in this programme.

What’s in it for my organisation?

  • Meaningful debrief session providing recommendations on areas that could improve employee engagement and positively impact the organisation’s productivity.
  • All finalists will be provided with the BBE award logo to be used for promotions and branding.
  • Finalists will be publicly recognised at the awards ceremony.

How long will it take?

  • The management interviews – 1 hour, Survey -10 minutes to orient and 10 minutes to complete. Debrief sessions – 1 hour.
  • An award is usually presented in each of the following business categories: Small, Medium and Large Companies based on the staff headcount.
